The JOC & Allies Cohort provides a national cadre of social justice leaders with an opportunity to deepen the work of dismantling racism and building greater equity in Jewish community through sharing skills and best practices, strengthening relationships and building accountability with Jewish leaders of color.
The JOC and Allies 2018-19 Cohort provides:
- Skill building and training opportunities with racial justice movement leaders and equity scholars
- Facilitated group video calls, geographically based community “meet-ups,” and caucus-based learning opportunities that facilitate relationship building and 1:1 learning among a multiracial Jewish cohort of leaders.
- Racial justice and equity mentorship and coaching opportunities
- Subsidized weekend participation and on-site Cohort programming at the 2018 Facing Race Conference in Detroit, MI
